About  Dr Francia Robinson

For over thirty years, Francia has had a serious interest and indeed long association with osteopathy, which began with her presenting as a patient, and eventuated in her studying in the field. Whilst she originally trained as a teacher and later worked in the travel industry, over time she realised that her true interest lay elsewhere.

As Francia has had three children, she brings to the practice her personal experience of both hospital and home births; of commonly encountered childhood illnesses; and of growth and development from infancy through to adolescence and beyond. She has incorporated osteopathy into the health management of her family.

Francia has a passion for osteopathy, and is continually engaged in further reading and study, keeping pace with the evolution of osteopathy as a practice, and with the changing paradigms of scientific research related to the human body; acknowledging the connection between the mind and the neurological and immune systems, and how our thoughts, emotions, traumas and beliefs may be manifest in our state of overall health and wellbeing.

Francia recognises and values the integration of mainstream medical practice with allied health therapies, in a holistic approach that aims to achieve and maintain wellbeing.
